DEDICATION to Kofi Annan, Secretary General of the United Nations.   

“Dear fellow-member, defender of peace,   

For a long time,  I made a point of testifying all my sympathy and my gratitude to you. I would be quite pretentious to say that I know precisely which are your attributions, which actions you carry out, or which man you are at the bottom. I am in any case extremely sensitive to your media appearances which I follow with great interest. The love with which you go to the meeting of the suffering upsets me. I admire your moral fibre and your heat with the combat facing international leaders who are sometimes indifferent, not courageous or of unwillingness in the fight against poverty and its “pathologies”.  You are for me what are the Abbot Pierre, Nelson Mandela, Dalaï Lama, Gandhi or Mother Theresa : a model of humanity. And I try each day to tend towards the great wisdom which lives you obviously.

I am not among those which adopt with the organizations or the movements, some they are, because I want to stay a free man of any excessive militancy or any propaganda, which always comprise in their centre good things and bad ones. I adhere above all to ideas, philosophies, sights or opinions. Yours are important for me: they are registered, with others, with the source of my voluntary engagement for the public ones precarized or at the sides of the actors of the durable development, but more especially, with the base of my vision of the world of tomorrow, more human and righter world.   

Even if some people answer me that “if that had not been you, that would have been another”, me, I note simply that it is you and not another. Can unceasingly be new support to continue your mission. Thank you for constancy for your engagement. Thank you to exist.”

Je tenais depuis longtemps à vous témoigner toute ma sympathie et ma gratitude.  Je serais bien prétentieux de dire que je sais précisément quelles sont vos attributions, quelles actions vous menez, ou encore quel homme vous êtes au fond. Je suis en tout cas extrêmement sensible à vos apparitions médiatiques que je suis avec grand intérêt. L'amour avec lequel vous allez à la rencontre de la souffrance me bouleverse. J'admire votre force morale et votre ardeur au combat face à des dirigeants internationaux que l'on sait parfois indifférents, frileux ou de mauvaise volonté dans la lutte contre la pauvreté et ses "pathologies".  Vous êtes pour moi ce que sont l'Abbé Pierre, Nelson Mandela, Le Dalaï Lama, Gandhi ou Mère Thérésa : un modèle d'humanité. Et je tâche chaque jour de tendre vers la grande sagesse qui vous habite manifestement.

Je ne suis pas, à priori, de ceux qui se rallient aux organisations ou aux mouvements, quelqu'ils soient, car je me veux être un homme libre de tout militantisme excessif ou de toute propagande, qui comportent toujours en leur sein du bon et du mauvais. J'adhère avant tout à des idées, des philosophies, des vues, des opinions. Les vôtres me sont chères : elles s'inscrivent, avec d'autres, à la source de mon engagement bénévole auprés de publics précarisés ou aux côtés des acteurs du développement durable, mais aussi et surtout, au fondement de ma vision du monde de demain plus humain, plus juste.

Même si certains me répondent que "si ça n'avait pas été vous, ça aurait été un autre", moi, je constate simplement que c'est vous et pas un autre. Puissiez vous sans cesse trouver de nouveaux appui pour poursuivre votre mission. Merci pour la constance de votre engagement. Merci d'exister. "
